Bryan Singer is getting quite a lot of good stars for his next feature. According to Variety, Tom Wilkinson, Bill Nighy, and Eddie Izzard have climbed aboard the Hitler-based drama Valkyrie.

They will be appearing alongside Tom Cruise in the project. The film revolves around a German general's plan to snuff out Adolph Hitler at the height of World War II. Apparently, it is based on fact. Just like the film The Passion of the Christ.

Carice van Houten, Kenneth Branagh, Patrick Wilson, and Stephen Fry also star in Valkyrie. The film will begin shooting this July in Berlin. Look for it to hit theaters sometime in 2008.

Valkyrie was released December 25th, 2008 and stars Tom Cruise, Kenneth Branagh, Bill Nighy, Tom Wilkinson, Carice van Houten, Thomas Kretschmann, Terence Stamp, Eddie Izzard. The film is directed by Bryan Singer.
