Bruno Slapped with NC-17 Rating?

What would a Sacha Baron Cohen movie be without a little controversy and this time it's coming from the MPAA. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cohen's new film Bruno will apparently be hit with an initial NC-17 rating, if it is submitted in its current state.

Apparently the filmmakers were told of the ratings news, even though they have yet to submit the film for a final ratings determination. The film will be released on July 10 by Universal, which is aiming for an R rating.

We'll certainly keep you posted on this story as soon as we have more information.

Bruno was released July 10th, 2009 and stars Sacha Baron Cohen, Gustaf Hammarsten, Clifford BaƱagale, Chibundu Orukwowu, Chigozie Orukwowu, Josh Meyers, Toby Hoguin, Robert Huerta. The film is directed by Larry Charles.

Anyone who wants to know about the MPAA, see the doc*mentary:
"This film is not yet rated"

Seriusly, the MPAA is as secret as the freaking CIA.
Filmmakers are never allowed to know who these people are who are judging there movies.
The rating system is better then the first but it does not work and it is still a form of censorship, especially when a movie is given an NC-17 rating, because most cinemas and companies wont even tuch a movie who has that rating.

Jack Valenti the guy who created the MPAA keeps pulling out from his ass a made up answer where he constantly says that about 80 % of all adults think its a perfect system.

The MPAA should not excist because it is a form of censorship as well.
Keep the children safe. HA! Thats bullsh*t and children should be able to watch scarry movies and violent movies filled with lots of lots of cursing!

oh by the way this movie is going probably be freaking hilarius!

NC-17 is a higher rating then R. That means you have to be 17 or above to see it. Just like that one movie about the Vegas show girl from Saved By the Bell.

NC-17 rating? Well lets see, nazi skin heads, Bruno walking around naked, good chances on having gay scenes in this movie, nice language, etc.... I'm actually surprised it's not rated R... Either, this is gonna be funny as sh*t!
