Bruce Willis Takes Aim for Kane and Lynch

Bruce Willis is in talks to star in Lionsgate's new adaptation of the Eidos Entertainment video game "Kane & Lynch: Dead Men." According to Variety, in Kane & Lynch, Willis will play Adam "Kane" Marcus, a hired-gun who teams up with schizophrenic killer named James Lynch in search of a stolen microchip.

Simon Crane, after serving as second unit director and stunt coordinator on films Hancock, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, X-Men: The Last Stand and Troy, and working with Willis as the stunt coordinator on The Surrogates, will make is directorial debut.

Kyle Ward has written the script, and filmmakers will begin shooting by the end of the year. No word yet on who is set to play Lynch.

    Well I have never heard of this game, but I do like Bruce Willis, and this does sound like an awesome movie. Also AndrewRyan, most of the videogame movies out are not blist games, this is the first I've heard of. I mean theres the Resident Evil movie franchise(My Favorite VideoGame adaptation), then theres Doom(Which wasn't that great of a movie, but I still liked it), and there's still Silent Hill. They are also supposed to be making a Castlevania movie, and that I look forward to because it's a vampire videogame. There is also BloodRayne, which I liked because I'm a sucker for anything vampires, and BloodRayne is my all time favorite videogame. I do want to see Devil May Cry made into a movie though, that's another good game!!!!!

    Wasn't this game realeased not too long ago? I mean, i've never played it, but it wasn't THAT popular. A game like bioshock(can't wait), halo, or gears of war are movie material, but kane and lynch is just so random. It's like they put these B list games titles on a peice of paper, put em in a hat and said "whichever one we pick is gettin made into a movie"

    Let's see who the pick to play Lynch and go from there. At least if they get someone who could work well with Willis, it should be good. Sounds like Simon Crane has the potential to break out with his directorial debut.

    Bruce Willis made it to the top of my SH*T LIST when he came out with 'Live Free or Die Hard'...not so much because the movie sucked more c*ck than marcusx, but because of the title.
