Bruce Willis is in talks for American Assassin
The story is adapted from the Vince Flynn novel of the same name, centering on Mitch Rapp, a young man who joins the CIA after his girlfriend died in a terrorist attack. Bruce Willis will play a CIA agent who mentors Rapp. The book is the 11th in Vince Flynn's Mitch Rapp series, although this story goes back to the beginning, showing how he first became involved with the covert agency.
Jeffrey Nachmanoff is directing from a screenplay by Mike Finch. We reported in February that he is taking over from Edward Zwick, who adapted the book with Marshall Herskovitz. At the time, it wasn't known if the studio would still use their initial draft, although now, with Mike Finch involved, it seems they are starting from scratch.
Production is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2013. Bruce Willis can next be seen in Looper later this month. He also begins production on Red 2 this fall.
American Assassin comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Bruce Willis. The film is directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff.

@mcleve02 Well she can't afford to say no to any roles, cause she'll run out of them soon enough.

@mcleve02 But thay don't have to look for work. The work will come to them. But they of all actors can afford to be picky with their roles

THE JOKER
@basquat They just love doing it and don't want to give it up... And it's not like their skill level has gone away, so I can understand not wanting to retire... but people are writing roles for younger individuals anymore and so I guess they get impatient waiting and grab what they can get...

Basquat
@mcleve02 Ha. But i don't get it though. Same with De niro and Pacino. They shouldn't be circling anything. They should just sit back and relax and wait for the good stuff to come their way.
Or do as Hackman and retire. Go play golf and enjoy life, but don't work with 50cent, and all 3 of them has.

Bruce Willis is circling everything he can these days. He seemed to stop carrying and just wanna work. Maybe he's got some serious money issues.

Mutant
I've always liked his action films, it's good that he still wants to do them.

the Narrator
This director was responsible for the half-baked Traitor. It;ll be hard to get behind another CIA-type project helmed by him. I liked this better when Zwick was set to direct. Still, Bruce seems to be having quite the comeback (not that he was ever gone). Looper, Die Hard 5, The Expendables (more or less), RED, etc.

The Cryptkeeper: Resurrected
Bruce Willis is a favorite actor of mine, and it is good to see he is still getting action movie rolls.
