Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan Are A Couple of Cops

Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan have signed on to star in Warner Bros.' detective comedy A Couple of Cops, marking director Kevin Smith's first major studio project.

According to Variety, Marc Platt is producing the project, formerly titled A Couple of Dicks. The scripting team of Robb and Marc Cullen penned the screenplay, centered on a pair of cops who track down a stolen baseball card, rescue a Mexican beauty and must deal with gangsters and laundered drug money.

Warner picked up the project in turnaround last year from Gold Circle, where it had been in development with Robin Williams and James Gandolfini in the lead roles.

No production date has been set.

    This could be good. Fat man smith is from jersey and so is willis. And they no eacother and have talks about doing projects. It's about time.. Bruce willis in a comedy kevin smith directing. Think about How funny this cold be! Smith and willis unleashed !!!!!

    Well, Black Moon. The role is not necessarily a sidekick role. I think Mike Epps could do it whether or not he has Ice Cube. I mean, Mike went off and branched into the Resident Evil sequels. Anyway, if it's Tracy Morgan DEFINITELY, the worst that could happen is the movie getting poor reviews. Nonetheless it's a step forward for Tracy to be in a film with Bruce.

    i happen to be a tracy morgan fan but he just isnt a very good actor. for that reason i, off hand, am going to agree with spoog and say that epps would probably have been a better choice.

    Me 2 Shelley but you know Spoog,(Love ur avatar,love that show)i think Tracy is alright,when he's not co-starring,like maybe a minor role,he's pretty rememberable (Like in "The longest Yard")

    And i seriously don't think that Mike Epps would be a good sidekick in this film,cause he's got Ice Cube.(And Chris Tucker cant do it cause hes already in a crazy due with Jackie Chan)
    So i think they should recast for a new black guy(Im black so don't call me racist) and the perfect sidekick for Bruce Willis.(Not Samuel L. Jackson[Only for action films])

    Wow. Well Kevin Smith was in Live Free or Die Hard, so Bruce Willis already knows him. Tracy Morgan, he's not that funny. He has is moments, but this sounds like a role for Mike Epps.
