Bruce Davison Joins Knight Rider

Bruce Davison has joined the cast of the upcoming Knight Rider telefilm. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wayne Kasserman and Greg Ellis have also come aboard this reimagining of the popular series from 1982.

This sequel to the original show will center on the son that Michael Knight never knew he had. The young Knight is recruited to join the Knight Foundation, a group committed to counteracting and preventing the damage done by private, covert military contractors.

Both KITT and David Hasselhoff will be appearing in the two-hour pilot, which, if successful, will be turned into a weekly series for NBC.

I agree with everything SWAK1774 has said. It is annoying when all of these writers, who are on a strike, cannot come up with new material. But I do make exceptions. I too watched this when I was a kid. Although I do not expect much from this project, I will give it a shot.

I've been becoming annoyed lately with all these tv shows and movies being remade instead of these writers coming up with original ideas. I can make an acception with this. I watched this when I was a kid and I am looking forward to see how this is going to turn out. Especially if it's supposedly going to be something like Transformers.
