Brothers Grimm: Snow White Confirms Lily Collins as Snow White

Saoirse Ronan, who was in talks for The Brothers Grimm: Snow White, is officially out of the running as Phil Collins' daughter Lily Collins has been confirmed by Relativity Media for the role of Snow White.

The actress joins already announced cast members Armie Hammer, who is playing the prince, and Julia Roberts, who will be playing the evil queen.

The Brothers Grimm: Snow White is a faithful retelling of the original fairy tale from director Tarsem Singh, who will next release the Greek mythology adventure Immortals.

The Brothers Grimm: Snow White will begin shooting this May.

Mirror Mirror was released March 30th, 2012 and stars Julia Roberts, Lily Collins, Armie Hammer, Nathan Lane, Jordan Prentice, Mark Povinelli, Joe Gnoffo, Danny Woodburn. The film is directed by Tarsem Singh.

    She was in The Blind Side and had literally no role whatsoever in the movie (which is kind of lame, as she was a big part of Michael Oher's life). I'm indifferent... but I'm guessing one of the million Snow White projects popping up will be good, statistically speaking.

    Ronan would have been a nice addition, but Roberts brings a validity to the film so as to allow room for the unproven Collins and the up-and-coming Hammer. Plus, I didn't really see Ronan as Snow White.
