Brit Morgan cast in a major role for the third season
The last casting vacancy on Alan Ball's popular vampire drama has been filled. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brit Morgan (The Middleman) has joined the cast of True Blood for its upcoming third season.

Morgan will fill the last new role left for this season, playing Debbie Pelt, the ex-girlfriend of fellow new cast member Joe Manganiello's Alcide, who also doesn't care for Anna Paquin's Sookie Stackhouse either.

Other new casting additions this season include Manganiello, Theo Alexander, Grant Bowler, Lindsay Pulsipher, Cooper Huckabee, J. Smith-Cameron, Alfre Woodard and Kevin Alejandro.
