Brian Austin Green will star in the TBS pilot The Wedding Band
The Wedding Band is an hour-long, scripted comedy that follows a group of guys who try to escape the stress and craziness of their lives by performing in a wedding band. Anchored by lifelong best friends - one a perennial bachelor and the other a married father of two - the band will stop at nothing to make every wedding, birthday or bar mitzvah a concert to remember. In addition to Green and Perrineau, the pilot stars Peter Cambor (NCIS: Los Angeles) and Derek Miller (Secret Girlfriend).
After making his mark with Beverly Hills, 90210, Green landed in several high-profile series, most recently Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and the current season of Desperate Housewives.
Perrineau, who scored big in such series as Oz, Lost and I'll Fly Away, turned in a memorable, scene-stealing performance as Mercutio in Baz Luhrmann's William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Perrineau also co-starred in the second and third films in The Matrix trilogy. Most recently, Perrineau co-starred in the offbeat crime drama The Unusuals.
Cambor co-starred in the comedy Notes from the Underbelly before being cast in the series NCIS: Los Angeles. Derek Miller is an accomplished improv comedy actor whose credits include the series Secret Girlfriend and a recurring role on Scrubs.
