Corner Gas, Canada’s number one sitcom and a hit for TBS on American cable, is going off the air after six seasons. According to Variety, Butt is planning to follow up this popular show with the new half hour comedy Hiccups.

The show will air on CTV in Canada and on the Comedy Network in the states. Corner Gas costar Nancy Robertson will star as a successful children’s author with raging mood swings. She is forced to hire a life coach to guide her through some of her more aggressive behavior.

Executive David Storey will direct the pilot, which begins shooting in Vancouver this month.
