Brendan Gleeson joins The Cup
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film centers on the 2002 Melbourne Cup horse race. Gleeson will play legendary Irish horse trainer Dermot Weld.
The Cup begins filming this summer in Australia.
The Cup was released May 11th, 2012 and stars Bryan Martin, Stephen Curry, Jodi Gordon, Alice Parkinson, Shaun Micallef, Martin Sacks, Colleen Hewett, Andrew Curry. The film is directed by Simon Wincer.
