Brand New Valkyrie Trailer Hits

Tom Cruise stars in the suspense film, Valkyrie, based on the true story of Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg (Cruise) and the daring and ingenious plot to eliminate one of the most evil tyrants the world has ever known. Director Bryan Singer re-teams with Academy Award®-winning screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie to bring to life the story of the men who led the operation to assassinate Hitler. The film also stars an acclaimed cast including Kenneth Branagh, Bill Nighy, Tom Wilkinson, Carice van Houten, Thomas Kretschmann, Eddie Izzard, Christian Berkel and Terence Stamp.
Valkyrie opens in theaters on December 26.
Valkyrie was released December 25th, 2008 and stars Tom Cruise, Kenneth Branagh, Bill Nighy, Tom Wilkinson, Carice van Houten, Thomas Kretschmann, Terence Stamp, Eddie Izzard. The film is directed by Bryan Singer.

spideykea: they're speaking english wich is wrong anyway. If you wanna be historically accurate, get german actors. But if you're gonna make an english-spoken movie, why should mere accents matter? Anyways, the trailer looks promising, I'm SO looking forward to this one.

Okay, I was wrong. I was pretty sure this would seal the coffin of Cruise and would spread word of the same for Singer, but it really looks good.
As for Cruise's "lack of" accent... most of you guys would be b!tching if he'd tried one, so which is it?

Hopefully this will do better than Singer's other Nazi movie, Apt Pupil (which was excellent). Tom is going to receive a lot of heat that everyone around him managed to pull off a German accent except him.

This looks really good, at first when I heard about that Tom would be in this I was very sceptic.
But now I look at this differently, this looks really interesting and good, even do I know how the history ends.
