for this first clip released from the film, which features Rhona Mitra as Sonja, doing battle with her father, Viktor, played by Bill Nighy.This prequel story delves into the origins of the centuries-old blood feud between the aristocratic vampires, known as Death Dealers, and the barbaric Lycans (werewolves). A young Lycan, Lucian (Michael Sheen), emerges as a powerful leader who rallies the werewolves to rise up against Viktor (Bill Nighy), the cruel vampire king who has persecuted them for hundreds of years. Lucian is joined by his secret lover, the beautiful vampire Sonja (Rhona Mitra), in his battle to free the Lycans from their brutal enslavement.
Underworld 3: The Rise of The Lycans was released January 23rd, 2009 and stars Michael Sheen, Bill Nighy, Rhona Mitra, Steven Mackintosh, Kevin Grevioux, David Aston, Geraldine Brophy, Leighton Cardno. The film is directed by Patrick Tatopoulos.

You should know, though, that 3D usually ruins a movie because they spend half of the movie poking things at the screen. "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans" shall be perfect. It does not need 3D. And when did I start being like WHAT exactly?

I like the werewolves too, Lucian has been one of my favorites since the first Underworld. But I think a lot of focus is on the vampires because that is the way it was written.

Are you f*cking thick? Of course it's not "Bill Nye", it's Bill Nighy, one of the greatest English actors ever produced. Guy's f*cking brilliant, he's the only thing worthwhile about the second two pirates movies, except for some of Depp's shining moments.
I will probably see Taken instead, and buy this on DVD. I love the Underworld movies, but in a childish wonderment sort of way, not a spend ten bucks to see it once sort of way.
