Michael Mann is a great director and does crime stories better than anyone.
HEAT,COLLATERAL, MANHUNTER(original RED DRAGON), CRIME STORY series. Even MIAMI VICE (minus the ending and the chinese bitch) was excellent. It was unfortunately marketed at as ACTION movie.
this will also be good, but i fear it is also marketed as an action movie, rather than a crime thriller.
