Brand New Joker Image from The Dark Knight!

As the Warner Bros. panel heats up here at Comic-con, a new photo of Heath Ledger as The Joker and Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachel Dawes has shown up from the upcoming Batman Begins sequel, The Dark Knight.

The Dark Knight was released July 18th, 2008 and stars Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Aaron Eckhart, Michael Caine, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Monique Gabriela Curnen. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.

    he was not a good joker. thats the point he was more funny. The Joker wasnt that funny and he wasnt crazy enough. It just didnt cut it. Ledgers Joker will be the Joker...period

    well to say that jack was horrible is just not right, he did a great job, if not amazing as the joker, he was funny, but totaly insane and vicious all @ the same time. Ledger will do a fine job he is also a good actor. like i say comparing the the new batman flicks with the old(and that means the first 2) i say they are totally different styles the old ones more fantasy like and the new ones more realistic, a different interpretation. but the 89 burton Batman will always be the best to me, and jack will always be Joker.......

    I just watched the original Batman like 5 minutes ago, and I agree with IamBATMAN. Jack did a HORRIBLE job playing the joker! He was way too....himself to play the part. Just listening to Heath laugh in the teaser is such a HUGE relief because he sounds, and looks like a better joker.

    anyone who is saying Jack Nicholson was a good joker is not a fan of the Batman comics... or more importantly of The Joker himself. Jack Nicholson is an amazing actor, but his performance as The Joker was a HUGE disappointment. I think people are quick to say Jack was better for two reasons... 1) people dont want to believe Heath is good enough for this role and 2) Nicholson is a good actor and never does a bad role.

    Heath will be good... Nolan would not have picked him if he thought he was going to kill this movie.

    You have to remmeber that this is a New BatMan New Ideas, nothing like the old films, The New BatMan was just great and the second will be Just as good,
    Heath Acting skills will be proven in this film but the Director would not have chosen him. I think everyone who doubts will be eating there words

    I was one of the original nay-sayers, thinking Ledger wasn't a good fit. Now is a different story. I love the look mixing the clasic with a new twist, and after hearing the little voice clip in the teaser, I think he will be phenominal.
