Bradley Cooper has signed on to the horror, Midnight Train for Lakeshore and Lionsgate.

The film is Clive Barker's tale about murderous mayhem on the New York subway; Variety notes it's based on Barker's short story, Midnight Meat Train, published in his popular Books of Blood series. It centers on a photographer on the trail of a serial killer who operates in the subway system.

Ryuhei Kitamura has replaced Patrick Tatopoulos as director of Midnight Train, set to begin shooting this winter.
