I'm siding with Box Office Mojo's more accurate prediction:
1. Breaking Dawn Part 2 - $45 million ($68.2 million five-day) 2. Skyfall - $34.2 million ($50 million) 3. Rise of the Guardians - $32 million ($45.5 million) 4. Lincoln - $17.9 million ($24.5 million) 5. Wreck-It Ralph - $17 million ($23.3 million) 6. Life of Pi - $15 million ($21.1 million) 7. Red Dawn - $10.6 million ($14.8 million)
Rise of the Guardians in 1st? I doubt it. The movie won't make even close to what you're predicting. I'd be surprised it it debuted ahead of 4th place. Twilight, Lincoln, and even Skyfall will all do better. There's no buzz on the movie at all, and it looks terrible.
What? You're out of your mind, Movieweb. If we're counting the 5 day weekend, it'll break just above 50 mil. Twilight will more than likely win with 51-60 mil.
Wow, that's a hight estimation for Guardians. But I doubt Twilight will drop to second place. Maybe the other way around. I could be wrong, since these three new release are getting an early start. Here's to being wrong

Silver LInings Playbook is playing in 367 theaters, so no, it won't easily top 20 million.

What's going on Movieweb? You forgot Lincoln last weekend now Silver Linings Playbook? It should easily top $20 million.

These predictions are absurd. Most other websites are predicting no more than 70 million for any movie over the 5 day weekend.
Anyway I still need to see Skyfall and Lincoln. Hopefully I can see Skyfall tonight before my theater takes it out of IMAX.

Oh myyyy... These are the most ridiculous predictions. Rise of the guardians will struggle to break 50 mil in 5 days. Twilight will win out.
