    Feels like Real Steel will definitely win at the box office, but it will not get my money. I'll be seeing Ides of March.

    @moviegeek You're right tomatoes are fruit....found this online

    "While it is botanically a fruit, it is considered a vegetable for culinary purposes"

    @moviegeek I think @bawnian-dexeus is right, aren't tomatoes vegetables? :P

    @ghostman: You're probably right about that. Advertising something as a limited engagement draws out crowds, thus making more money, and prompting the studio to extend the theatrical run. And best of all, they need not worry much about breaking even as the cost to redistribute the film is extremely cheap in comparison to releasing the film originally. No major marketing besides TV spots, and maybe one sheets at the IMAX theaters.

    @bawnian-dexeus I agree with @moviegeek The Lion King will have high blu-ray sales this wk, either that or Fast Five will take the number 1 spot in sales :)

    Real steel should end up right under $30. Lion King will drop off a LOT more now that it's out on Bluray. Ides of March should be around $13 I'm thinking.

    I'd say 45mil instead of 33mil :P And wasn't The Lion King 3D a two week engagement? @slysnide Maybe Disney extended it when they saw the amount of money it was making ;)

    Ideally it would be "Ides of March," but due to the majority of American interests, I'd say "Real Steel" wins it, maybe not by a 2/3 margin, but it'll probably still beat it. "Lion King" was heavily advertised as only a 2wk engagement, so that should've had its last day in theaters last Friday. Unless they took the ever so typical approach of false advertising to boost profits. :P

    Real Steel in all honesty doesn't look that bad. I mean, it's not my first choice of a movie to see but if I had to see it I don't think I'd be that upset.
