I don't know if that was sarcasm or if you're serious, but...either way, I'm taking it as a compliment :)

If you're being sarcastic because I called you a "sad sap" before, I'm sorry. If you're being serious...well, then thanks

But I urge everyone who is enthralled by Twilight's spell to watch "Let The Right One In." Just saying

btw, if you want a REAL vampire love story, check out "Let The Right One In," which is an ACTUAL masterpiece...and it's Swedish.

Maybe all this is pointless, because I don't think you care about a GOOD movie, all you care about is what's popular now. You're attracted to Twilight because it's still a vampire story, but without violence, so it's okay for your lil self to watch it. You're not allowed to see GOOD movies like "Let The Right One In" because that would be too much for you to handle, so you settle for the popular, "please f*ck me in the ass" vampire movie

OH, F*CK OFF!!! You know something, Twilight is NOT a masterpiece, if you say that you don't know SH*T about movies, okay? I've read multiple reviews where people say the effects are downright crap. I even watched the first few minutes of it online(it was sh*t quality, so I stopped), and the acting within those first few minutes wasn't too great...that's NOT masterful. Do you even read the comments after you post them?? Saying it's a masterpiece is like saying Rosie O'Donnel's attractive. That's just you being a "huge fan" of the series and putting your bias opinion before actual FACT. I've been defending your opinion to like this movie, but when you start saying it's a "masterpiece" it's outright pathetic. You sound like a schoolgirl who doesn't know sh*t about good movies. YOU go kill yourself, because if you think this is a masterpiece, your leading a sorry excuse of a life, mister. You can like this movie, but don't you dare call it a masterpiece

I agree with you Moviebuff, there are a lot of women and girls out there that expect to be taken to these type of movies on 'date night'. Fortunately for my husband, I am not one of them. I do not hate love stories, teen movies or 'chick flicks', there are just other movies out there that I would rather see, like Quantum of Solace or Australia.

    Good call, Moviebuff.

Love stories can be cheesy, and I know lots of people on this site hate mushy love stuff, but there is a huge audience for it, and I don't mind, if it's done well (Shrek 1, Out of Africa, Princess Bride). Not saying that Twilight did well, cause I haven't read/seen it. There is a balance in Hollywood. You have your Saw's and you have your My Little Pony: The Movie's. Let the romance enthusiast have their time sharing a few screens at the megaplex.

Its funny how we all cut down love stories and movies like Twilight being gayish... but in fact we ALL go through the same crap in real life. Not the vampire crap mind you... but the falling in love and courting the female. Yet we think that explosions and bullets and bad ass fighting makes a bad ass movie like lets say... Transporter 3. Give me a break.

I've been married to a gorgeous woman for quite some time now and have three beautiful daughters.... that I probably wouldn't have if I didn't do the "gayish" things (as you call them) that we see in the movies. It may look stupid, lame, gayish, and every other word that you can think of... but this love sh*t is real life boys. Live with it.

The majority of the viewers were females 16-30 probabaly. From what Ive read in other places, the main charecter is a new heart throb? He looks like a girly-man to me. It's a chick flick plain and simple kind of like "The Covenant" and it wont get my money.

I did read the reviews. Now I am outa here.

Yo crypt, did you even see Role Models? And if you did see it, and still think it's lame, then what's wrong with you? It's not just about sex if that's what you're concerned with. It was a really hilarious movie with some moral value to it. Check out my review if you're not convinced

I can not wait for Australia and I am planning on seeing it on Saturday. As far as Twilight is concerned, exit polling showed 75 percent of the audience was female with 55 percent of ticket buyers under age 25. But that is no big surprise. I will give the movie a chance when it comes out on DVD because I just can not bring myself to pay $9.00 to see it in the theater.
