@jonspidey07 You need to find your love for the character himself and not be a fanboy of Sam's spidey... I love Christopher Nolan's Batman... best Batman we have ever seen... but does that mean when Batman will get rebooted I won't go see it... No! If you are truly a spider-man fan, you should give the character a chance and want to see him succeed..
@symbiote09 as in quality of film, not Box Office numbers... It was a terrible, terrible film... I got horrible reviews, no matter how much money it made... A prime example of what happens when a studio gets way too involved...
@jonspidey07 trust me when spiderman 1 came out I was obsessed with that movie but i was 12 years old. then spiderman 2 came out and it was my fav. comic book movie(until TDK came out) but 3 was just crap. c'mon venom asking for help to beat spidey? tobey and kristen where ok on 1 & 2 but by 3 they were just annoying. Andrew garfield beats tobey anyday in terms of acting.
I still say SONY should be ashamed of themselves they completely ruined any of my future desire to see this character on the big screen ever again they changed way too much and Im not feeling it anymore ask anybody else in the world who feels the same way I do to hell with this reboot!
Spiderman 3wasn't made the way Sam wanted. He was forced to include Venom and choose the actor by choice of the studio. They didnt let him do the story he wanted. They made him do it their way since he was under contract and what they "thought" was more bankable. Well they were wrong. Then since he was out of contract theu asked Sam to do a fourth one but he said only of he could do it hos way this time. Once again they said no, they wanted their own influence and spin on the project. This is also part of reason no more Jon Favreau behind directing 3rd iron.man but they at least made a good choice still with that one under Shane Black.
@mcleve02 Haha, lucky duck. I only had to pay 2 out of 3 times. Total, I've spent $30 on TDKR. $15 for the midnight IMAX premiere, and $7.50 for a matinee show, but I ended up paying for my friend too. O.o
@bawnian-dexeus@ROFLitschristian Yeah, I was quite obsessed back in the day... haha... Oh who I am I kidding.. I still am! Thankfully, I only paid for my ticket 3 of those times... friends/family bought the rest!
@carlos Garza sorry but 2002-2007 was the Spider-Man for me even the 3rd movie which I will NOT apologize for Sam Raimi was on a roll and SONY should not have screwed around with him on #4 my childhood, the hard-earned money and my devotion to this franchise went down the drain when they made this decision they should be ashamed of themselves for starting over in the first place
@jonspidey07 I just think if you cared about the spiderman character at all. you would give anything spiderman related a chance. just like in the comics there are many different versions of spiderman.
Just got home from watching The Dark Knight Rises. A fantastic movie. Hard to pick between it and the Dark Knight. But was no doubt great. Nolan, Bale, and the rest who are key to this movie are fools if they decided not to do more. This movie was a end to a beginning, not the end. This one no doubt capped off how Batman became the Ultimate crime fighter with no powers. How he came to terms with himself, his past, and having a future. I did not like two key story parts, which in the end was major impact points. But I feel neither was needed to tell this story at all. A fourth movie was no doubt set up with how this one ended, but I guess Nolan needs some sort of reason to do it. I think it was done the way he did in the end of the movie, to set up for the movie story to continue with him or with out. But in a manner he could do, which would give him leverage to make other movies he wants. In the end, may be 4 years until we either see him do the fourth Batman, or until WB decides to go on with it with out him.
@Dark-White-Knight Same. It's one of 3 movies I've actually seen more than once in the theater. 3. Spider-Man 2 (x2) 2. The Amazing Spider-Man (x2) [Weirdest coincidence, I know] 1. The Dark Knight Rises (x3... so far)
@mcleve02 I think they could have had a fourth if they had done it before this film... I would have liked to see Penguin, someone to challenge him as BRUCE WAYNE as well as Batman and then closed out with the ultimate challenge in Bane! But hey, I will take this! I'm still very happy with the franchise!
@rufio Unfortunately, I believe it really is done... As sad as it makes us... Of course people will find flaws and so far its just they wanted more explanations on things... The movie was 3 hours long! They can only fit so much into one film!

When studios, for the most part, get too involved in the creative process of a film it usually ends up crap.
