quiet weekend, was a little disappointed by 'Arietty', it should have been more captivating, Ponyo was way better

Even though 22 million is definitely a weak opening, Ghost Rider 2 has already made nearly half it's budget and that's without any foreign releases yet. Somehow in making the sequel they were able to shave 53 million from the first films budget, which is listed at 110 million. Apparently, Ghost Rider 2 came in under 60 million. That's extremely rare usually sequels balloon on budget not reduce by 50%.

@thedude1 First time I saw Highlander, I asked my dad why he never used his forehead. That thing was, still is monstrous

@bawnian-dexeus I didn't know he trained that long. Sucks they couldn't give him a better role then.

And that be an awesome fit for Expendables 3 as a swordsman. Or they could have him beat people up with his huge forehead. I'm surprised hes never done that in his movies before.

@thedude1 That would be awesome. He'd make a great swordsman for a third part. Although I was disappointed that he wasn't involved in much sword action in Spirit of Vengeance after reading that he went three months training with them

@bawnian-dexeus Yes he has. I was jumping for joy when I heard he was being talked about for The Expendables 2. Sad that didn't happen but maybe they can get him for The Expendables 3.

@thedude1 Well, yeah, I can agree with that. Been a while since he was up there. I hope the man gets more work. He's seriously been missed.

@bawnian-dexeus Lambert didn't have a big role no but at least we have finally seen him on the big screen again. And him yelling "No" in his classic manner was priceless.

Ghost Rider was bad ass. It was in the mold of Punisher War Zone which was another kick ass movie. If you don't take the movie too seriously you can enjoy it.

And come on Christopher Lambert was in it. He is without a doubt one of the greatest actors to walk the Earth.

glad ghostrider bombed... should have just been rebooted instead of putting out an awful sequel to an awful film.

I did like safehouse... good performances from both washington and reynolds... this coming from someone that doesnt like reynolds.

@kingbrady True, but when the original was such a strangely big hit, $22 is quite awful. Doesn't deserve even that though :P

@moviegeek $22 million isnt much of a flop considering how pathetic the film actually is........surprised it got that much
