@mcleve02 Yeah, no way I'm waiting. I still can't find anything close to Nashville. I'm hopeful that they've just yet to post the showtimes, because the film is slated for a wide release this friday. The freakin' trailer even says so. There's no reason why it shouldn't be playing everywhere.
@thedude-abides Yeah... I live about an hour and a half from Washington DC so I am hoping they will show it there! I really don't want to wait for the blueray!
@mcleve02 Same here. We're getting Dredd, Dredd 3D, End of Watch, Trouble With the Curve, and Untouchable (or some sh*t along those lines). I'm about to look for other cities with possible showtimes.
@thedude-abides I don't think they are showing it at my theater at all... I have been all over the showtimes... nothing for 3 weeks... I may have to drive...
@themoviefanatic I know what you were trying to say, but what we are saying is that in every post you write, you tend to write everything from your previous post as well. It just makes it more confusing to see your point is all.
@jonspidey07 You have to tag correctly so we know your mentioning us... Let's talk quality of films for a moment... The Campaign, agree; The Expendable movies, read my review and you will see I rated it 3 stars... so agree; But there is no way you can say things like Silence of the Lambs is worse than Twilight, Spider-man 3 and Resident Evil... I sincerely question your taste on this one... It is completely unfair that these films make the money while the majority of people make fun of them and hate them more than they love them... you have select fan boys out there who will see these things and get them their numbers... Then you have films like The Master, which is a true quality film... It will most likely win the Oscar for best film along with several other awards... but it is only showing in select theaters for a smaller period of time... I call that unfair in the numbers at the box office... These films just are not that level of film... and people with very mature taste, such as myself, @XxNickTheFilmCriticXx , and @thedude-abides will continue to look at these films as nothing but a waste...
And as far as spider-man 3 goes for numbers, the first 2 were good, enjoyable films so people went in thinking it was going to be the same thing, and we instead got that crapfest that we did! So yeah, it's easy for a trilogy that started successful to get it's numbers!
@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx Well, i mentioned that in case mcleve02 were to look for that comment from 13 hours ago, considering what had been talking about that.
@jonspidey07 -- Where does "Silence of The Lambs" fit in with any of those choices? Oh, don't even use that nonsense. Twilight sucks, and it's probably considered to be one of the worst movies of all-time, and they make well over $500 million.
@felipe-11 yeah ok, but Id say the same thing about people who like Silence of The Lambs (HIGHLY overrated btw), The Campaign, The Expendables movies, Adam Sandler's damn so-called comedies, and Jennifer Aniston's career
@mcleve02 No, i was simply saying what i "ment" to say before, not "repeat" what i said before. That is why i said what i said to @XxNickTheFilmCriticXx around 13 hours ago. Sorry the confusion with that.
@themoviefanatic It is seriously a lot more confusing when you repeat the same thing in every post... Simple would be much easier... nice and short... believe me, we have no problem responding if we get confused, which is not often! We are pretty damn smart individuals!
man if i was a producer with a new movie coming out this week and got beat by a movie that came out already many years ago i will be pissed , lol just goes to show , 3D is here to stay. I akm going to see RE3 this week, i am a fan of the saga, but i do agree that the next one should head in another direction, maybe a story like the video game (part 2 or 3) then it can start fresh
suprising a pixar film lost this bet, Normally they always score big bucks at the box office in first place regardless if its new or an oldie. RE must of been a great movie.
