damn i really liked the losers i was hoping it would get number 1. im pissed at all those little kids that keep going to see that dragon bullsh*t. i cant believe an animated movie is going so high. if it overwhelmes nightmare next weekend, which im sure it wont, but if it does i will SERIOUSLY be pissed.

This time of year was a terrible choice for movies like Kick Ass and Losers to be released b/c their target audiences are very busy. You've got college students at crunch time for finals and end of the year high school activities like prom hitting their peak. The R-rating impedes the younger demographic, and a lot of younger adults think comic book movies are beneath them.
The worst release date choice was by Paramount & the Weinstein Company, who passed up releasing Grindhouse in March on a Friday the 13th with no major competitors. They opted instead to wait 3 weeks and release it on April 6, 2007, which happened to be Good Friday (Easter Weekend). The stupidity in that was mind blowing. Could they have picked a worse date to release a slasher-esque movie.

Dragon and Kick Ass both deserve the #1 & #2 spots! But Kickass is already down at number five. I bet it'll have great DVD/Blu-ray sales though!

Kick-ass was a good movie I'm glad I saw that instead of the losers but it's probably not making enough money because of it's R rating, but oh well what can you do.

The Losers was arguably one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Glad to see it failed.
