Bond 23 to shoot in India
Today, it has been revealed that the Union information and broadcasting ministry of India has approved Sam Mendes for shooting inside the country. This will be the second 007 adventure, after Octopussy, to take place in India.
The government has given Sam Mendes and his crew permission to take their equipment into Sarojini Nagar Market, Daryaganj street and Ansari Road in the national capital. Bond 23 has been delayed while trying to acquire access to these locations. Principle photography is expected to begin soon, with officials also okaying shoots in Mumbai and Goa.
However, Sam Mendes is still awaiting permission from the railways and the respective state governments to take his team on the trains in Ahmedabad, and Dudhsagar and Zuari Rail Bridge in Mumbai and Goa respectively. It is still possible that this portion of the film will be shot in South Africa.
Skyfall was released November 9th, 2012 and stars Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Bérénice Marlohe, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw. The film is directed by Sam Mendes.

I would have liked to see Brosnan stay on board for at least one more film before Craig took over actually but now that Daniel has been doing such a good job, I'd much rather have him keep playing the role for a good while longer, over Fassbender becoming Bond. I like the guy and all but he doesn't scream James Bond to me like everyone else seems to think.

@thedude-abides He just has classic Bond written all over him, and I gotta say, I like tradition, ya know? Craig plays well to the younger crowd because he's more Bourne than Bond, and that's fine, it's just not what I prefer.
