Bold Films Goes with Psy-Ops

In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Bold Films has snapped up Psy-Ops from writers Scott Stewart and Gus Krieger.

Stewart has previously directed the film Priest.

Stuart Maschwitz, the founder of the visual-effects company the Orphanage with Stewart, is slated to make his directorial debut with this film.

Psy-Ops focuses on a covert U.S. military unit of psychological operatives that specialize in toying with their target's deepest fears. On a mission to the Amazon Basin, they come across something that is more terrifying than they have ever seen.

This film is said to combine aspects of Predator and Black Hawk Down.

Yeah that's what i though, when i read the title i though it was based on the game Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy.
That was a pretty awesome game, ripping people apart with your mind and making the enemy turn on each other.

I reckon they got the idea from the game and combined aspects from Predator & Black Hawk Down from it, interesting though

This article says nothing about it, but there was a game by the exact same name that came out for the PS2 and XBox in 2004. The game is also about a covert military unit of psychological operatives, but after that the plot details are different. I wonder if the writers got the idea for this movie from that game. The game was awesome. I hope that the movie will be as well. I'm sure that we're a long way off from seeing a trailer.
