In other Piranha 3D news, Bloody-Disgusting has found out some new information on one of the characters. It has been known for some time now that Richard Dreyfus was going to make a cameo appearance in the film, but the site has learned that Dreyfus will actually be playing the same character he played in Jaws, Matt Hooper!

Piranha 3D stars Elisabeth Shue, Adam Scott, Ving Rhames, Richard Dreyfuss, Christopher Lloyd, Dina Meyer, Brooklynn Proulx, Quinn Lord, Riley Steele, Jessica Szohr, Jerry O'Connell, Cody Longo, Ricardo Chavira and will be released in theaters everywhere in 3-D on April 16.

Piranha 3D was released August 20th, 2010 and stars Richard Dreyfuss, Ving Rhames, Elisabeth Shue, Christopher Lloyd, Eli Roth, Jerry O'Connell, Steven R. McQueen, Jessica Szohr. The film is directed by Alexandre Aja.
