BlackFilm reports that writer-director Tyler Perry has added actor Blair Underwood for his next film, Madea's Family Reunion, which will start shooting in July.

The film, which is based on Perry's play, centers a round a pistol happy granny named Madea (Tyer Perry). Her family gets together for a funeral, a family reunion and a wedding on the same weekend.

Tyler Perry's Madea's Family Reunion was released February 24th, 2006 and stars Tyler Perry, Blair Underwood, Lynn Whitfield, Boris Kodjoe, Lisa Arrindell Anderson, Maya Angelou, Rochelle Aytes, Jenifer Lewis. The film is directed by Tyler Perry.
