Blades of Glory Takes the Gold for the Second Straight Week

Blades of Glory earned the top spot for the second week in a row at the box office. The Will Ferrell/Jon Heder comedy took in $23 million for a two-week total of $68.3 million, according to Box Office Mojo.

Meet the Robinsons stayed at number two with $17 million, and a two week total of $52.2 million.

Ice Cube's Are We Done Yet? debuted with $15 million over the weekend, and a five day total of $19 million (it opened on Wednesday).

Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez's Grindhouse only brought in $11.5 million over the weekend, finishing in fourth. Kurt Russell, Rose McGowan, Freddy Rodriguez, Marley Shelton, and Naveen Andrews headline the two separate films.

The Reaping took fifth place with an estimated $10 million; in the film, Hilary Swank discovers a town turned upside down by strange occurrences in the pattern of the Ten Plagues.

300 continues its domination, finishing in sixth place taking in $8.8 million; the Zack Snyder-helmed battle flick has made $193.8 million over 5 weeks.

The motorcycle comedy, Wild Hogs came in seventh place with $6.8 million. The film stars John Travolta, Tim Allen, Martin Lawrence, and William H. Macy; over six weeks, it's brought in $145.4 million.

Shooter hit its target in the eight spot; the Mark Wahlberg thriller made $5.8 million and a three week total of $36.6 million.

TMNT fell five spots to ninth with $4.9 million; the CG-animated film has made $46.7 million in three weeks.

Rounding out the top ten, Josh Hutcherson in Firehouse Dog; the family film brought in $4 million over the weekend, and a five day total of $5.2 million from its Wednesday open.

Blades of Glory was released March 30th, 2007 and stars Will Ferrell, Jon Heder, Will Arnett, Amy Poehler, Jenna Fischer, William Fichtner, Craig T. Nelson, Romany Malco. The film is directed by Josh Gordon, Will Speck.
