Black Swan Trailer
Black Swan follows the story of Nina (Natalie Portman), a ballerina in a New York City ballet company whose life, like all those in her profession, is completely consumed with dance. She lives with her retired ballerina mother Erica (Barbara Hershey) who zealously supports her daughter's professional ambition. When artistic director Thomas Leroy (Vincent Cassel) decides to replace prima ballerina Beth MacIntyre (Winona Ryder) for the opening production of their new season, Swan Lake, Nina is his first choice. But Nina has competition: a new dancer, Lily (Mila Kunis), who impresses Leroy as well. Swan Lake requires a dancer who can play both the White Swan with innocence and grace, and the Black Swan, who represents guile and sensuality. Nina fits the White Swan role perfectly but Lily is the personification of the Black Swan. As the two young dancers expand their rivalry into a twisted friendship, Nina begins to get more in touch with her dark side with a recklessness that threatens to destroy her.
Black Swan was released December 3rd, 2010 and stars Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, Vincent Cassel, Barbara Hershey, Winona Ryder, Benjamin Millepied, Ksenia Solo, Kristina Anapau. The film is directed by Darren Aronofsky.

Tense, Taunt, Sexual, the lesbian affair or what ever it will evovle into i keep thinking is it to drag sexual movie tytes or is it the deep phychologicaal depthness of her paranoia.
Either way it looksl iek a chilling, odd, creepy, well made, visuals effects to highlight the meitonality and madness type film that probably will be the best film released this year,
One for the oscars again Darren, also what a great transition of filmmaking style story telling.
Sometimes with directors it still shines, their trademark shine, shines through, but this guy, he still has a glint of it, but from evolving from the wrestler to this, truly a appropriate and true man of the art

@moviegeek1, what are you talking about? That scene only adds to the reality of how crazy the stress is making her. If we simply saw her freaking out , without her body going through mental changes, we'd write it off as either practical, and or cheap. With a visual backdrop of seeing it through her eyes, we are able to play off of her transformation, knowing it isn't real? Follow?

@Movie-it Aronofsky isn't for everybody. His movies can be wild, disgusting, way out there in left field. But that's what I love about him, he's different.
And I agree @ZanyZap, this is Academy Award material, I'm sure of it.

Call me stupid if I don't appreciate the concept of this film. It negatively looks crazy. Not good. And one thing, I felt chills at the wet, little feather growing from her disgusting chicken skin. Very, disturbing scene!

@TheFallen I don't care if it's in a dream or reality. I have a great imagination, thank you. Artistically, this scores big time. I mentioned that.
But the wings call the character's bluff. She is going through a transformation, and the wings materialize it. This should be, you're right, psychological. It should be a mental battle. She shouldn't sprout wings, regardless if it's in her imagination or not. The wing-thing takes away from the mystery of the IMAGINATION.

@moviegeek1, the scene of her transforming into a bird, is psychological/'dream state. This is very much grounded in reality. Seriously, open up your imagination.
Aronofsky is a genius. I didn't like Requiem that much, but I really enjoyed The Fountain and the Wrestler. Can't wait for this. Natalie Portman rocks my world.

@TheSoylentGreenMonkey Nolan directed, produced, wrote and came up with the story of inception all by himself. That is AMAZING. Aronofsky is magnificent director. His artwork in some of his movies really leave me not only spellbound, but changed psychologically
