Keanu Reeves revealed a script for Bill & Ted 3 is nearly complete
He also revealed that Bill & Ted 3 will tie into the end of Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, with the guys now in their 40s and still not having written the song that saves the world. Here's what he had to say below.
"I believe the writers are six weeks away from a draft. No pressure, guys! When we last got together, part of it was that Bill and Ted were supposed to have written the song that saved the world, and it hasn't happened. So they've now become kind of possessed by trying to do that. Then there's an element of time and they have to go back."
Back in September, we reported that Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, the original writers of both Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, are writing the script.
Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey actually ends with Bill and Ted getting lost on the way to the first-ever gig on Mars. It is not known if that element of being lost in space will play a factor in the storyline at this time.
Bill & Ted 3 is in development and stars Alex Winter, Keanu Reeves.

I like Reeves and most of his films are good but I agree his action roles are his best. This has a lot of potential imo.

Skywise yes I agree those film were great to watch. I was in Night Heat back in 1985 for five minutes as a lost kid and I loved every moment of it but the thing is I was never mentioned in it. Me and my parents were disappointing to see that my scene had been cut out.

@zender I liked some of his early work like Parenthood (he has one of the greatest lines in a movie filled with great lines). Then there was Youngblood, Rivers Edge which is freaking awesome with Dennis Hopper. Providence, My own private idaho and Dracula.
He has done some great movies in his early days. I want to see him do Cowboy Bebop...he would make a perfect Spike.

Keanu has done some excellent films in the past but I wish he would show some emotion from time to time. I would love it if he finished off the Speed Trilogy. Actually he's a better as an action hero.

Matrix and Reloaded were good movies but anyone could have played Neo. He was the usual cardboard cutout character that he was in his "oscar worthy" Point Break. Which was also a good movie but not because his stiff and wodden acting skills.

@jimthar He's a director now. I don't know of any major work he's done but I know he helped to develop the cartoon network show, Tower Prep as well as directing a few movies for Cartoon Network.

@messenger not a bad idea, and completely plausible. they could even take it a step further with just doing carlin digitally, they did it with arnold in T4, and brando in SR, even lucas has been wanting to do a film with passed away stars, so anything is possible, might be expensive, but could work, I dont think they will take it that far, even a statue in the future of rufus would be befitting as a nice memorial to carlin as well :)
