Actor Alex Winter recently revealed that the script for Bill & Ted 3 is complete and in his possession. Take a look at what he had to say below through his Twitter account.

"@antmaurizio: Bill & Ted 3, less than 6 weeks away and counting? Movie is gonna kick some ass." > Just got the script. And now to read..."


Earlier this month we reported that the Bill & Ted 3 script would be completed in six weeks, and it seems they are now ahead of schedule. Keanu Reeves revealed that the story would feature Bill and Ted writing a song which would save the world.

It still isn't clear when production will start on Bill & Ted 3, although with the script finally finished, it seems that they are moving in the right direction. Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, the original writers of both Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, wrote the screenplay for Bill & Ted 3.

Bill & Ted 3 is in development and stars Alex Winter, Keanu Reeves.

    @incmob haha, true. I wonder if an android or an iPhone will be used. Or maybe for some reason there's a phone booth around there somewhere, in a dump, or in their basement for memorabilia

    i think the major questions here is... did the wyld stallions finally get eddie van halen??? And, will they be using a cell phone for time travel, phone booths are pretty much extinct.

    on another note, i dont think they will replace carlin... again i think they will pay homage to him somehow, maybe with a statue in the future or something... but may replace him with another character to help them with another excellent adventure.

    Totally! No reason to lose faith in the writer's who wrote the first two coming back and doing it a third time and having the original cast except for Carlin.

    I mentioned this before but what they could do is have Bill and Ted go back in time and just composite them into footage from the first two movies. That is, if the story allows it.

    This is a total waste of time. A bill and Ted remake would be ok but like a previous poster said seeing two aged characters is a shame. I mean Alex winters whole career was bill and Ted and Reeves ain't made a watchable movie since the matrix

    @ejk1 @skywise They probably won't have the Rufus character recasted. Carlin is irreplacable. It's funny. When Carlin died, the first thing I said was "RUFUS!!!!!". But they'll probably have a new character who assumes Rufus's duties as the person to ensure Bill and Ted accomplish what they need to.
