Director Andrew Dominik is rumored to have signed quite a few impressive names to his upcoming crime caper Cogan's Trade. Actors being mentioned for his cast, which is headlined by Brad Pitt, include Josh Brolin, Bill Murray, Casey Affleck, Zoe Saldana, Mark Ruffalo, and Sam Rockwell.

Pitt is set to play the title character, Jackie Cogan, a cop investigating a high stakes poker tournament protected by the mob. Andrew Dominik wrote the screenplay, which is based on a novel by George V. Higgins.

Cogan's Trade will be shot in New Orleans this March, marking the frist time Pitt has made a movie in the state of Louisianna since starring in 2008's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Dominik previously directed Pitt in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.

Killing Them Softly was released November 30th, 2012 and stars Brad Pitt, Scoot McNairy, Ben Mendelsohn, James Gandolfini, Richard Jenkins, Vincent Curatola, Ray Liotta, Trevor Long. The film is directed by Andrew Dominik.
