Beverly Hills Cop IV: According to AICN and several other sources, Paramount is ready to restart the Beverly Hills Cop franchise with a fourth sequel. Thanks in part due to the revival of Eddie Murphy with his latest film, Daddy Day Care.

No director has yet been signed but Michael Bay, Tony Scott, and Martin Brest are all interested. It is also unclear yet whether super producer, Jerry Bruckheimer, will produce as he did with the first two Beverly Hills Cop films. Jason Richman is writing the script.
