and i have to add that i do like one other ferrell movie, wedding crashers, but i HATE the scenes that he's in in that film. thankfully all he had was a small part.

@incmob i never watch the office so i cant comment on that. and i never watched STF. if i ever watch one of his movies, it's typically on accident, like if it comes on HBO or something. thats how i saw 'blades of glory', 'land of the lost', 'semi pro'.....

@jimthar couldnt agree more... just look at the longevity of someone like jim carrey or even robin williams, or even bill murray, those guys started out doing the same schtick, but evolved, and made changes. And i know most people would argue that will ferrel tried his hand at drama with stranger than fiction but personally not only did i not find it all that entertaining but could see some of his same comedy antics coming through... like it was hard for him to be serious. on a side note... didnt think he did much for the office on those season end episodes either.

@incmob i agree completely. i've been saying that for years. i much prefer him when he does supporting roles in movies (the jackal, enemy of the state, i still know what you did last summer, tropic thunder, etc) than i do when he is THE star of the movie. i just cant get into any of HIS movies. they dont do anything for me.
and ferrell is just a waste. i hate seeing him go into his 5 year old child fits in every movie he makes. i've only ever liked 2 movies of his. roxbury and old school. other than that, it's all garbage.

@jimthar i actually agree with you on that. i think jack blacks comedy is much too overated. even thinking of all the movies he has been in i cant think of one where he was the main star that i thought was really that good, and... ones where he costarred in that his performance was not upstaged (ex: tropic thunder... tom cruise and RDJ made that movie good). I also agree about Will Ferrel, of course there have been movies that i have liked of his, but think he is overated a bit, and does the same type of comedy again and again... once you've seen one will ferrel movie, you have pretty much seen them all.

Love Jack Black & Will Ferrell, I though Jack was hilarious in Tropic Thunder myself!

@k-man it depends on the movie entirely for me. Tropic Thunder: love the move, couldn't stand jack black. Nacho Libre: Love jack black, ok with the movie

@incmob no, i was referring to jack black actually. cant stand the guy. i cant understand how both he and will ferrell still get work.

Is anyone else getting a little tired of Jack Black?

I'll admit it, the second picture snagged a few chuckles.

@jimthar if your referring to Richard Linklater, i beg to differ. Dazed and confused was a great freaking film, and a scanner darkly is pretty decent... of course those are pretty much all i have seen, so maybe like @skywise said hit or miss.

The Knight Has Risen
School of Rock came out in 2003, not 2006.

I mean, I would bang a milf in a heartbeat, but a gilf? Sorry, no. She'd have to be pretty f*cking hot for me to consider it.

Richard Linklater ish*t or miss but mostly hit. I hope this one is one of his good ones.

Disgusting premise (I thought Harold and Maude was gross, too), but it's cool that Black and Linklater are working together again. School of Rock had an infectious, fun energy to it.
