Accoridng to Variety, DreamWorks has plunked down $1 million to pick up a pitch from the team behind Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story -- Ben Stiller, writer-director Rawson Marshall Thurber and producer Stuart Cornfeld.

Thurber came up with the idea for the pic and will write and direct. Stiller and Cornfeld will also produce through their DreamWorks-based Red Hour Films.

The title and subject of the film are being kept under wraps. All that's known is it's a high-concept comedy.
