Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake will star in Runner Runner
This thriller is set in the world of illegal online gambling, although no further plot details were released. The script is being written by Brian Koppelman and David Levien, who are no strangers to the gambling world. They wrote the poker drama Rounders, and created the short-lived ESPN series Tilt.
Brad Furman (The Lincoln Lawyer) will direct, with Appian Way's Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson Killoran producing alongside Michael Shamberg, Stacey Sher, and Scott Steindorff.
20th Century Fox will distribute and co-finance the project with New Regency. No production schedule was released, although it is said to be made on a $30 million budget.
