Definitely grittier than the original. Looking good. Still no word on whos playing Calibos. Hope they don't cut out the character.

Looks promising. Bit on the TROY side but it should still be good.

Yeah Medusa has always been my favorite. But all of them should be cool to see.

I agree with Agent. The creature effects are going to be awesome. Hopefully they keep them true to harryhausen's creations. Can't wait to see Medusa, and how the soldiers turn to stone.

Sounds good Leng T'che. Good perspective. I hope it DOES finally get to the night time wars, but you know how some directors change things to make something theirs. I hope your right about it finally getting around to what we love.

This should be a great, and more than anything, fun movie to watch.

    Totally psyched!

And like the Fallen said, it's great to see that the cast and crew are having fun. Fresh off of Terminator with the "oh-so-intense" Bale, joking around a bit is probably a relief for Worthington (even with the DP)...

Well, Vanboy as i see it, he's setting it up, he doesn't want to give it all away in is first installment of his Terminator, he wants to spread it out, give us a little bit at a time. That to me builds a good trilogy, developing character and themes over a period of time. If he just went all out there wouldn't be anything to put in the next ones. Don't forget Reese isn't accepted into the official resistance until the very end, so really there's a whole bunch of stuff to show in the next Terminator as he gets more involved. Thats my two cents.

Okay Leng T'che. I'll have to check those out.

CB Junior, I agree with what you said about Terminator, but Bale needs to challenge himself in better roles like he had in The Machinist. He was awesome in that.

And hopefully Terminator gets back to the original feel. McG denied us the vision of the night future battle that we have seen in every incarnation from Terminator to the all of the video games and even Universal Studios T2: 3D Battle Across Time. I waited so long to finally see that world not just as a flashback/forward scene, but a whole movie. Kyle Reese said very clearly in the original, "We stay down by day, but we can move around at night". Why McG decided to arbitrarily change this detail that James Cameron purposely set up in the post nuclear world, is beyond me.

Cool. It's funny to watch the cast mess with each other on set. I think Sam Worthington should be on his way to becoming a huge star because not only was he one of the three good things about Terminator Salvation, but he's got this and Avatar on the way. He deserves to nearly be a household name by Avatar's release, but he will probably end up being one of those very underrated actors like Christian Bale. I'm looking foward to this.

Dude he's a superb actor, you should check out some of his other work, especially Pusher 1 and 2, which is with that same director for Rising. Also does great work with the director Anders Thomas Jensen, he's in all three of his movies which are this cross between a feel good movie and an ultra-violent dark comedy. A weird mix I know but it's out of hand.

Leng T'che, I just watched the trailer for Valhalla Rising. Looks awesome. That's quite a vastly different character that Mads Mikkelsen plays in this, than Le Chiffre from Casino Royale. He's a badass in Rising.

I think Harry Hamlin should fill the role of Ammon, that Burgess Meredith played in the original. It would be a good little homage.

Cool to see Mads Mikkelsen getting more American roles. If you guys are interested in Clash of the Titans, you should check out Valhalla Rising. Unfortunately, it probably won't get the best distribution over here as most foreign films never do, but I assure you it will be one f*cking brutal Viking movie.
