A man (Black) whose brain becomes magnetized unintentionally destroys every tape in his friend's video store. In order to satisfy the store's most loyal renter, an aging woman with signs of dementia, the two men set out to remake the lost films.

this came to theatres in jersey-but i missed it, i wanna see it so bad. i love michel gondry his films are incredible-add mos def, danny glover, and jack black to the mix, and thats all the more reason. definately gonna snag this up.

This is was the "WORST"..."THE WORST" film of 2008!! I wouldn't wast the money again to own this piece of sh*t!!! A true waste of a cast's time and talent!!
The film premiered on January 20, 2008 at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival...then opened February 22, 2008 to lousy reviews and was gone within two (2) weeks aftert that!!
