Barry Sonnenfeld will be directing the new supernatural thriller The Box. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Evan Spiliotopoulos is writing the screenplay.

In The Box, a college graduate is tricked into opening Pandora's box. In doing so, he unleashing the evils that await inside. He must save the world before they can destroy it.

Sonnenfeld is planning a wide summer release for the project. we'll probably see it next year.
