Barbarian Films has stepped up to finance indie action film Jonah, directed by first-time director Brandon Boyce from a script he wrote.

According to Variety, the story centers on a team of hitmen led by a veteran and his 14-year-old protege who are pursued by a hotshot FBI agent.

Production is slated to begin in the first quarter of 2009.
