Don't lie, you just are so damn greedy that $2.7bil aint enough for you people. And for the most overrated film of all time, I'm not surprised Fox's vision for this film is so clouded to the point where they're this obsessed with money. And 3D doesn't help a film either, it just makes the fact that it's a flat 2D screen far more noticeable.

@IAMbatman *sigh* As I already said, it isn't as if you have IMAX screens in your home. I, for one, want to see this movie again in IMAX 3D. I can't do that with a blue ray or dvd.

This might come as a shock but I'm gunna have to agree with @Brian not cause Avatar is super epic but it is good and without the 3d IMAX experience it just becomes a standard B even movie. If you love Avatar might as well get a couple more solid views in.

@brian Are you that stupid? If you saved your money for the re-release DVD you would get all the same footage and you could watch it whenever you want. Now you have to go to the theater, spend 15 bucks then another 20 plus dollars when it comes to DVD. Why don't you get a life. Avatar sucked and most people can admit that.

demand? where is the demand? people who want to watch the movie again bought it on Blu Ray, not one of them that I know has said
"Hey, even though i just went and paid 27 dollars for this movie on blu ray, I sure would like to go pay another 12 to see it in theaters."

@TheDude1 - it's hardly a simple and crappy movie. Noone's making you go see it. Obviously there's a demand, otherwise they wouldn't be re-releasing it. There is an OPTION to go watch it again, but you don't have to. I, for one, would really like to see it again. Especially after the many sh*tty movies that have plagued this year so far. :)

how exactly is it a scam? if you don't want to see it again don't go see it again. I'm probably gonna go see it again. Not for the extra 8 minutes, but because like Tha Phoenix said, I won't be able to watch it in 3d Imax at my house. I saw it twice originally and choose to see it again. Plus I will buy the Special Edition blu-ray when it is released. Those are my choices and I don't feel scammed at all.
