Keri Russell and Bret McKenzie will star in Austenland
The story is based on the novel by Shannon Hale, who co-wrote the screenplay adaptation with Jerusha Hess. Austenland centers on a thirtysomething woman who is obsessed with the Mr. Darcy character in Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, particularly Colin Firth's portrayal of the character in the 1995 BBC mini-series adaptation. Her life is in the doldrums because she cannot find a real man who matches up to Mr. Darcy. When she takes a trip to a resort which caters to those obsessed with Jane Austen's work, she realizes her fantasy of meeting a regal man just may come true.
Keri Russell is playing the single woman, while JJ Feild is playing a Mr. Darcy actor at this Austenland resort. The cast also includes Jennifer Coolidge portraying a cruel vacationer, along with Jane Seymour, Rupert Vansittart, and James Callis.
Production begins this week in the United Kingdom.

Well, its starting with a strong cast but Hess is hit or miss for me. I hope he finds more success behind the camera. He defntaly has an intersting sense of comedic timing.
