Ashton Kutcher Is Ready for the Spread

Ashton Kutcher and Jennifer Jason Leigh have recently signed up to star in the new independent comedy from David MacKenzie titled Spread. According to Variety, Katalyst's Jason Goldberg and Peter Morgan are set to produce, with Barbarian Films' Aaron Kaufman lined up to executive produce.

Spread centers on the adventures of a serial womanizer (Kutcher); Leigh will play a thwarted lover. Jason Dean Hall wrote the screenplay making it his feature film screenplay debut.

Filming for Spread is scheduled to start later this month in Los Angeles.
