Ashley Tisdale Set to Join They Came from Upstairs

High School Musical Ashley Tisdale is really going up for her next picture. Upstairs, that is.

According to a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Tisdale has signed on to the adventure-comedy They Came From Upstairs. She joins the cast alongside Robert Hoffman, Carter Jenkins, Austin Butler, Ashley Boettcher and Henri and Regan Young.

The movie revolves around a group of teenagers who must fend off aliens from their Maine vacation home, after they get in through the upstairs part of the house.

The film is being directed by John Schultz from a script by Adam F. Goldberg and Mark Burton.

Production starts at the end of January in Auckland, New Zealand. No release date has been set as of yet.

Aliens in the Attic was released July 31st, 2009 and stars Carter Jenkins, Austin Robert Butler, Ashley Tisdale, Ashley Boettcher, Henri Young, Regan Young, Doris Roberts, Robert Hoffman. The film is directed by John Schultz.

    I guess once you do a musical for teenagers and show your t*ts to the world, the next thing to do is a crappy film! I agree this would be better as a horror film! Sounds like some left over script from the 80's!
    I guess the writers strike is making people desperate in Hollywood!
