Arrested Development movie plot rumors
The storyline will supposedly be announced within the next few weeks, but at this point, it is considered rumor. Here is the supposed leaked plot:
"Ron Howard is making a movie about the Bluths using an A-List cast. But Dr. Tobias plays himself because nobody wants to play him in the movie. The Bluths decide to make their own movie in contention with Ron Howard's."
Mitchell Hurwitz had previously mentioned that he would like to see Maeby create a self-referential movie about the family, so this could turn out to be the real deal.
No production date has been set.
Arrested Development is in development and stars Jason Bateman, Michael Cera, Alia Shawkat, Liza Minnelli, Will Arnett, Portia de Rossi, David Cross, Jeffrey Tambor.

@TheStonedReviewer Off the top of my head I would say Serenity, X-Files: Fight The Future, Star Trek, the Mission Impossible movies, The Simpsons Movie, and Lost in Space were all of equal or greater quality than the TV show.

Brilliant that we're getting told the set-up, but i cant think of ANY good TV shows that have made Movies that live up to the quality.. besides South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut. If any one else has any others please tell me!
