"Currently I'm reading three scripts. One topic/script, which I considered a long time ago before governor, is delighting me particularly. In it I would play an older soldier, who gets the order at the ending of the war to kill a bunch of kids. But he doesn't do it and get them to safety at the risk of his life and it has all kind of adventure. This script is based on a true story!"

With Wings As Eagles, written by Randall Wallace is based on the true life story about a German officer who does not agree with his surrounding Nazi party and instead helps the American POWs escape.
Nothing else is known about the other scripts, and no production dates have been set.

@supes... your dead on... arnold has screen charisma, and although he could blow things up with the best of em, he always found ways of reinventing himself. twins as well as kindergarten cop are perfect examples... he didnt blow up one thing in those films, yet it was great seeing him with that sort of charm, which was the complete opposite of what he was known for at the time. Very few actors can transition like that. hell i might even watch a 90 minute film of arnold taking a dump, while shooting some terrorists... all before he is even done reading the latest issue of "Harpers Magazine"... lol.

Things he shouldn't go into:
1) Family comedies (I'm looking at you Dwayne Johnson)
2) Dumb action films based solely on his star power.
Things he should go into:
1) More complex action fare with more character depth.

he needs to be in The Expendables 2, not as a bad guy but as a rival.. like competition. and he needs to be in the next Terminator movie. Bale signed on for a franchise so he should come back. even if its a cameo like last time but have him be really there and he needs to speak

I am really excited about this as well... I never thought i would feel it but i think cinema has been a bit empty without an arnold film every 2 or 3 years. Granted most of his movies were never shakepearean, but that is the glory of them all, even with duds such as last action hero and junior i would be very pleased to go see an arnold film today. He is very smart, to be looking at his options too as an aging action star, i even thought in the expendables he looked pretty old too, compared to bruce willis, who i am not sure if he even ages anymore... but kudos to this, hope to see him back in the next few years.

it's cool that he's gonna do more movies but, no more terminator for arnold. he's too old and he doesn't look right as the character anymore. even in T3 he looked kinda awkward. i like what they did with him in T: SALVATION but he himself doesn't need to be in them anymore. time for him to hang up his terminator boots.
but looking forward to his new movies, whatever they may be.
