Anthony Mackie is set for the sci-fi thriller The Adjustment Bureau, joining Matt Damon and Emily Blunt in the Universal feature.

According to Variety, George Nolfi is directing from his own script.

Nolfi also will produce alongside Chris Moore, Michael Hackett and Bill Carraro.

The Adjustment Bureau, adapted from Philip K. Dick's short story, centers on a smooth-talking congressman whose political future is thrown in doubt by the arrival of a mysterious ballerina in his life.

The Adjustment Bureau will shoot in New York immediately following the wrap of the play.

The Adjustment Bureau was released March 4th, 2011 and stars Matt Damon, Lisa Thoreson, Florence Kastriner, Phyllis McBryde, Natalie Carter, Chuck Scarborough, Jon Stewart, Capt. Gregory P. Hitchen. The film is directed by George Nolfi.
