Ant-Man gets November 6, 2015 release date
The studio also revealed that Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World will both be released in 3D. Iron Man 3's May 3, 2013 and Thor: The Dark World's November 8, 2013 release dates remain unchanged. Phineas and Ferb has been pushed off of its July 28, 2013 release date to an undetermined 2014 date.
Disney's Saving Mr. Banks has been given a December 20, 2013 release date. The studio's true story drama starring Tom Hanks, Emma Thompson, and Colin Farrell will go up against CBS Films' Last Vegas and Fox's Walking with Dinosaurs 3D. Disneynature's Bears will hit theaters April 18, 2014, a date that hasn't been occupied by any other release yet.
The studio has also handed out a November 7, 2014 release date for an unspecified Disney Animation project, and a November 25, 2015 date for an untitled Pixar project that may be The Untitled Pixar Movie About Día de Los Muertos.
Ant-Man comes to theaters November 6th, 2015. The film is directed by Edgar Wright.

Until I see anything that leads me to believe otherwise, I am excited for this even though I was never a huge fan of the character in the books.
But I was never a big fan of Capt. America either and that worked out.

@bawnian-dexeus -- I highly doubt it'll be awesome, but if it serves as a guilty-pleasure(by some slim chance), it'll remain lame, in my book.

@corey -- No, not really. But, I knew nothing about "The Avengers", and disliked that movie, any way. Sure, I have no knowledge of the comic book universe, but when it comes to movie adaptions, I can judge on a different aspect.
The character (human perspective) might be interesting, but the ability itself? No. Might as well supply us with Butterfly-Man. You keep your faith, I'll keep my skepticism.

@ejk1 And once it comes out... well, "OMG THAT WAS AWESOME" comes to mind.

@bawnian-dexeus It's clear that these people don't know who Hank Pym is, and are just hearing the name "Ant-Man," and letting stereotypes run wild in their heads. Jackasses.

@ejk1 Also don't know about this guy complaining about releasing it after A2. I mean, I agree with your theory that this movie will begin phase 3. As if Ant-Man is so ridiculous it just won't fit well period and it will fail. Or maybe they find him quite useless and don't really wanna say it, so bashing it before pre production is the way to go. I've had my fair share of this attitude, but I've had my concrete evidence to them. I know as much about this character as Spiderman. Nada. I learn as I go with TV shows and anything I can find on the web

@bawnian-dexeus Seems like some people like bashing things without giving reason why. Kinda lame, people.

My question still stands: Why do people think this film will be bad?

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx do you know anything about Ant Man? It can work. Comic book readers like myself, @bawnian_dexeus and @ejk1have faith. Marvel and Disney haven't failed on a project yet. You may have hated The Avengers, but the numbers and critical success the film received speaks volumes.

This'll be up there with Shaq's "Steel" and Billy Zane's "The Phantom", maybe even Alec Baldwin's "The Shadow".

To all those against this, what reasons do you have? I'm just curious why you think Ant-Man wouldn't work.

@bawnian-dexeus -- When Ant-Man is involved, I beg to differ. Batman and Spider-man, sure. But, Ant-Man? Yeah, no.

@ejk1 After the research I've done for Ultron, I'd love to see him in Phase 3.

This means that Ant-Man will not be in The Avengers 2? i think a release date for 2014 is possible or at least an April 2015 release?

Here's what to look for: If Hank Pym, aka, Ant-Man, is cast for a role in The Avengers sequel. If that is the case, then it could be setting up for Ultron to be the main villain of Phase 3.

Great, now give us a release date for The Incredible Hulk 2 with Mark Ruffalo!!
