Robin Hood stars Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, Vanessa Redgrave, Mark Strong, Scott Grimes, Kevin Durand, Alan Doyle, Oscar Isaacs, Lea Seydoux and William Hurt and will be released nationwide on May 14, 2010.
Robin Hood was released May 14th, 2010 and stars Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, Max von Sydow, William Hurt, Mark Strong, Oscar Isaac, Danny Huston, Eileen Atkins. The film is directed by Ridley Scott.

Why the hell do you all hate this movie so much ? what do you expect about this movie ? Riddley it's gonna bring realism to this movie not Sci-fi not fantasy. let just wait for the god damn trailel. Look at terminator salvation my god a had so much expectation with that movie and in the end it was ... lets just say better than T3 and that's not good that meens it just sucked for a terminator movie.

the is the second time the set pics have SUCKED!
First up the 90s Costner robin hood wasn't bad, it was fun.
Secondly there's only been 3 other ROBIN HOOD films; 1 in the 30s, the other was animated, the other was MEN IN TIGHTS, so let's not exaggerate.
KING AUTHUR was sh*t, but hell it was creative and different. Not the typical rainbow coloured story everyone knows!
This also needs to be unique.It needs to have a different twist, rather than just being a retelling of Robin Hood. WE KNOW THE STORY! Give us something different.
The earlier idea of NOTTINGHAM; about the sheriff sounded interesting. Then the love triangle between a noble Sheriff, and Do-gooder theif was also something different. They've scrapped all that and gone for the simple, bland story.

I think this flick will rock! I have liked all of Mr. Scott's movies except maybe 2 movies. And Crowe is a good actor. However, I'm sad that he did not want Bale in this movie. But Blanchet is a good cast as well. Overall this will rock.

This movie does look like its going to rock. But why so many hack on the Kevin Costerner one is beyond me. I thought all in all, was a pretty good movie. Some isses of stroy line, but still good. Best Robin Hood live action to date. Sorry, the old school ones are decent, but you have too keep in mind the ability to do more action and stunts since the old black and white days. So concidering the lack of that, the Kevin Costener wins.

The third picture is funny. You have him riding a horse giving the illusion all the pictures are from the actual film and then all of a sudden one of a golf cart. Looking forward to it, great cast.
