Variety reports that Anne Heche is going to star in Fox Searchlight's Cedar Rapids with Ed Helms.

Heche is also going to be in the Will Ferrell-Mark Wahlberg comedy The Other Guys for Columbia Pictures.

Cedar Rapids follows a down on his luck insurance agent (Helms) "who goes to an industry convention to try to save the jobs of his colleagues." Heche is a woman that he meets there.

The film is being directed by Miguel Arteta from a screenplay by Phil Johnston.

The Other Guys sees Heche as a businesswoman who enlists two police officers, Ferrell and Wahlberg, to examine the financial losses at her company.

Cedar Rapids was released February 11th, 2011 and stars Ed Helms, John C. Reilly, Anne Heche, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Stephen Root, Kurtwood Smith, Alia Shawkat, Rob Corddry. The film is directed by Miguel Arteta.

The Other Guys was released August 6th, 2010 and stars Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Steve Coogan, Michael Keaton, Eva Mendes, Dwayne Johnson, Samuel L. Jackson, Rob Riggle. The film is directed by Adam McKay.
